Special specimens
Direct immunofluorescence
Submit a perilesional biopsy in Michel’s transport medium.
Frozen sections
Submit fresh tissue, not in formalin, and include orientation when applicable. The laboratory team can advise on handling.
Clinics are welcome to send a few cases to see how the service fits. Call and the team will coordinate supplies, courier, and requisitions.
